Patrons who reside outside the Lincoln Lawrence Franklin Regional Library may request research using the Research Request form. General assistance is available to local residents at one of the library’s four branches.
The library does not have staff dedicated to performing research but will be happy to assist whenever possible. Research requests should specifically target materials within the Library’s collection and subscription resources. Research is not available as a substitute for general browsing style research.
The library reserves the right to limit research to 30 minutes each week per request and/or per patron.
Please provide as much detail as possible (date, names, formats, etc.). The library may reject research requests that are too broad in scope (ex. “the Smiths”, “around 1905”, etc.).
If images are requested, scanning and printing fees apply. These fees must be received prior to the library providing these services. Acceptable forms of payment are cash, money order, or cashier’s check. Mailed payments should be sent to:
